My Balcony Suite delivered handsomely on both fronts. The room itself was generously proportioned, but it was the balcony that stole the show, offering an uninterrupted 180-degree panorama sweeping from the pier to the famous white cliffs — a view that made checking my phone feel like a minor crime against nature. Dinner arrived courtesy of the Artcain Restaurant's room service, where a classic fish & chips was executed with quiet confidence, followed by a chocolate fondant and ice cream that required no persuasion whatsoever.
